AMRPA Expands COVID-19 Educational Resources to Reach Entire Medical Rehab Industry
The Association continues to engage in extensive advocacy and education

(WASHINGTON – June 24, 2020) – The American Medical Rehabilitation Providers Association (AMRPA) is making ongoing updates to its COVID-19 resource center. Including weekly updates, frequently asked questions, federal agency guidance and relief resources, and webinars, these materials allow free access to the latest information on the public health emergency (PHE) and its effect the field of inpatient medical rehabilitation.

Since the onset of the global pandemic and resulting PHE, AMRPA has remained committed to keeping an open channel of communications with its members and the entire medical rehabilitation field to alert them of the latest related developments out of Washington. Based on a decision from the Association’s leadership, a dedicated COVID-19 call series was introduced on March 20 and made free for members and non-members alike to allow for more widespread hospital-to-hospital dissemination of necessary information.

Featuring experts from AMRPA member institutions who provided their unique perspectives on the PHE and related topics, the ongoing free informational calls also deliver regulatory and legislative updates from AMRPA staff and counsel.
