COVID-19 Panel

COVID-19 and Medical Rehabilitation:
What We Have Learned and How to Plan for the Future

Missed the panel? The recording will be available for registered attendees on the AMRPA Virtual Conference Platform on October 14, 2020.

In 2020, as the world faced a large scale public health emergency, inpatient rehabilitation hospitals and units were challenged in ways like never before. During this session, experts will provide an overview of their organization’s emergency response to COVID-19 and will address: multidisciplinary infection control, testing strategies, staffing, surge planning, and employee support. Panelists will also look toward the future and discuss how lessons from 2020 can be applied toward planning for future public health emergencies and how to best care for patients in the post-acute setting as we move into 2021.
