National Rehabilitation Awareness Week

National Rehabilitation Awareness Week: Celebrate the Power of Medical Rehab

In recognition of the benefits of rehabilitation and the successes of those who have received treatment through all forms rehabilitation, the National Rehabilitation Awareness Foundation (NRAF) recognizes National Rehabilitation Awareness Week during the third full week in September every year. This year, National Rehabilitation Awareness Week is September 16-22, 2024.

Membership

AMRPA is the nation’s only organization dedicated to inpatient rehabilitation hospitals and units (IRH/Us) and outpatient rehabilitation providers.

As part of the week, NRAF aims to:

  • educate people about the benefits and impact of rehabilitation,
  • develop programs that aim to increase opportunities for the nearly 50 million Americans with disabilities
  • and help those who are disabled live up to their fullest potential.

AMRPA looks forward to celebrating National Rehabilitation Awareness Week with daily activities on its social media channels (Facebook and LinkedIn).

This year, we will focus on raising awareness of the #PowerOfMedicalRehab, providing information on inpatient medical rehabilitation patient outcomes, disseminating useful resources and reviewing patient journeys to recovery.

We encourage you to take part in the celebration with us by accessing our easy-to-use and -share promotional toolkit at the following link, which includes our general graphic and accompanying suggested messaging for sharing on X (Twitter), Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram, as well as through email and WhatsApp: https://app.gleanin.com/share/c/26316

Alternatively, you can also download the graphic below, add your organization’s logo and share on your social media channels with the suggested messaging further down on this page below the graphic.

To achieve this, we set forth a proactive policy agenda in Washington, DC. We monitor legislative and regulatory activity that may impact IRH/Us and prepare and issue responses as needed. We share timely information and analysis with our members and work closely together to ensure not only our patients’ access to care, but the very future of medical rehabilitation.

Feel free to accompany your posts with the following message:

“We are proud to celebrate National Rehabilitation Awareness Week this year with @AMRPA. This week, we reflect on the remarkable patient outcomes that are achieved through the #PowerOfMedicalRehab and reaffirm our commitment to transforming lives #NationalRehabilitationAwarenessWeek”

Thank you for the work you continue to do in pursuit of our shared mission of transforming lives through access to the highest quality of medical rehabilitation care.

Happy National Rehabilitation Awareness Week!
