Denials Management

The Denials Management Committee serves as a forum for inpatient rehabilitation professionals to share and achieve common goals specific to care denials, including prior authorization, medical necessity justification, and technical audits and reviews. Committee members also support AMRPA’s advocacy agenda on Medicare Advantage, prior authorization, and other denials-related issues in front of Congress and the federal government.

Education

The Education Committee plays a leadership role in planning the annual AMRPA Fall Educational Conference & Expo by reviewing abstract submissions and selecting speakers. The Education Committee also assists with the planning of other educational training initiatives, such as webinars and Members Only calls.

Legislative & Regulatory Policy

The Legislative & Regulatory Policy Committee works with AMRPA staff and counsel to develop and pursue implementation of AMRPA’s annual policy agenda.

Marketing and Communications

The Marketing & Communications Committee supports AMRPA staff with a level of expertise and insight into communications, marketing and public relations relating to Association business. It also serves as a resource for its members and will establish a means to exchange information, ideas, concerns, and problems.

Outpatient & Therapies

The Outpatient & Therapies Committee analyzes all issues affecting outpatient providers of medical rehabilitation services and provides an on-the-ground perspective to inform AMRPA’s policy work on outpatient therapy regulatory and payment issues.
