Valerie takes a special interest in focusing on reducing non-value added activities from nursing staff in order to free up time for more bedside care. She uses knowledge gathered from a previous career in engineering to identify and move forward programs to reduce inefficiencies. Valerie considers it a privilege to work with Burke’s leadership team who are patient centered and believe in the science of rehabilitation.
