Join us for AMRPA's NEW three-part webinar series on Quality Metrics!
Join AMRPA Director of Quality and Health Policy, Troy Hillman and representatives from AMRPA Member Hospitals for this three-part webinar series which will explore key IRF quality measures and provide practical strategies to understand, monitor, and improve performance and patient outcomes.
Each session will be scheduled for 90-minutes, with the first 30 minutes focused on the CMS IRF QRP resources, measure specifications, and calculations (including an overview of risk-adjustment methodology, where applicable). The remaining 60 minutes will be presented by representatives from AMRPA Member Hospitals who are among the top 50 performers on all the measures included in each webinar. These representatives will focus on how they have operationalized the IRF QRP measures, discussing opportunities and strategies to achieve top performance values.

The first session of the AMRPA Quality Metrics Webinar Series will focus on the IRF QRP measures of function, including the Discharge Self-Care Score, Discharge Mobility Score, and Discharge Function Score. We will begin the session with a discussion of the measure specifications, including the section GG items included in each measure, patient inclusion/exclusion criteria, score calculations, and risk-adjusted expectation values.
Representatives from AMRPA Member Hospitals who are top 50 performers on all three of the function measures will then focus on how they have operationalized the measures, including opportunities and strategies to achieve top performance values, such as improving Section GG coding accuracy and including risk-adjusted expected values in patient goals and team meetings, among other topics.

The second session of the AMRPA Quality Metrics Webinar Series will focus on the IRF QRP Transfer of Health Information to the Patient and Provider measures and the Drug Regimen Review Conducted with Follow-Up for Identified Issues measure. We will begin the session with a discussion of the measure specifications, including the IRF-PAI items included in each measure, patient inclusion/exclusion criteria and measure calculations.
Representatives from AMRPA Member Hospitals who are at 100% on all three of these measures will focus on how they have operationalized the measures, including opportunities and strategies to achieve top performance values, such as standardizing documentation practices, leveraging EMR capabilities, or implementing policies to ensure compliance with measure standards.

The third and final session of the AMRPA Quality Metrics Webinar Series will focus on the Changes in Skin Integrity Post-Acute Care: Pressure Ulcer/Injury, and Percent of Residents Experiencing One or More Falls with Major Injury measures. We will begin the session with a discussion of the measure specifications, including the IRF-PAI items included in each measure, patient inclusion/exclusion criteria and measure calculations. We will also review the changes to the Falls With Major Injury measure to include claims and encounter data.
Representatives from AMRPA Member Hospitals who are at 0% on these two patient safety measures will focus on how they have operationalized the measures, including opportunities and strategies to achieve top performance values, such as standardizing and implementing policies and procedures to prevent any patient safety events from occurring.

Cancellation notices must be sent in writing to [email protected]. Cancellations received more than 7 days prior to the live webinar will receive a refund, minus a $50 cancellation fee. If the registration amount paid is less than or equal to $50, no refund will be given. No refunds will be issued 7 days or less prior to the live webinar, or for no-shows. In the event that an AMRPA activity is cancelled, participants will be contacted by email immediately and allowed the option to receive a full refund or transfer their registration fee to a future AMRPA event.
