Meet Our Presenters

Christopher A. Lee, MSPT, FACHEÂ Â
Chris Lee is Vice President and Chief Operations Officer for Madonna Rehabilitation Hospitals. Mr. Lee is responsible for operations across Madonna’s full continuum of post-acute care: Inpatient Rehabilitation Facilities, Long Term Care Hospitals, Skilled Nursing Facility, and outpatient clinics. Mr. Lee is also the business leader for the four hospital facilities on Madonna’s campuses in Lincoln and Omaha, Nebraska.Â
Chris has worked in the medical rehabilitation field for more than 30 years, starting as a physical therapist, and became a board-certified Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives in 2014. He is currently Chair of the Board of Directors for the American Medical Rehabilitation Providers Association, representing more than 800 member facilities across the U.S.Â

Rhonda Abbott, Senior Vice President, CEO, TIRR Â
Rhonda Abbott is Senior Vice President and CEO of TIRR Memorial Hermann. Rhonda oversees clinical, operational and strategic functions across one of the nation’s leading rehabilitation systems, which includes inpatient rehabilitation facilities, outpatient sites, a community wellness program, an education academy and a research arm. Rhonda has driven clinical care redesign, expanded therapy education programs, and led multiple locations in earning accreditation as rehabilitation facilities. With more than 23 years at Memorial Hermann, she advanced through leadership roles from physical therapist to CEO, applying her clinical expertise to improve access, equity and quality for patients with disabling conditions. Under her leadership, TIRR Memorial Hermann was designated a national rehabilitation innovation center in 2023 and consistently ranks among America’s best rehabilitation hospitals by U.S. News & World Report.

Kate Beller, JD, President, AMRPA
Kate Beller, JD, has served as the American Medical Rehabilitation Providers Association (AMRPA) President since March 2024, and previously served in leadership roles within the Association since February 2019. In her current role, Beller helps AMRPA identify current and emerging policy issues affecting the rehabilitation industry, including the annual inpatient rehabilitation facility (IRF) Prospective Payment System and Quality Reporting Program, Medicare Advantage coverage reforms, the IRF Review Choice Demonstration, auditing and oversight programs within the field, and Medicare Payment Advisory Commission (MedPAC) post-acute care payment analysis, among many other issues.
