AMRPA Political Action Committee
The AMRPA Political Action Committee (PAC) was created to ensure that Members of Congress understand and prioritize the field of medical rehabilitation and support the highest quality of care for our patients. AMRPA PAC is bipartisan and supports federal leaders on both sides of the aisle.
AMRPA PAC assists in our efforts to educate political leaders on the value of medical rehabilitation in their communities. Through voluntary political contributions, AMRPA members are able to pool their resources to help support qualified federal candidates who share our views on the issues impacting our field.Â

Granting Permission to Solicit Contributions
The Federal Election Commission (FEC) requires the AMRPA PAC to obtain prior approval from a member hospital in advance of soliciting the member’s “restricted class” (executives, management, and salaried administrative personnel).  The person who signs an authorization for AMRPA PAC to solicit the member’s employees may be the member’s CEO or President, or it may be another leader with whom AMRPA works the most.
By signing the prior approval form, you’re making a direct impact on the well-being of our field. Our foundation is strong, and it’s time to build a PAC that will protect the future of medical rehabilitation. Â
If you are unsure if your organization has granted the AMRPA PAC permission, to submit a solicitation release form, Â or for other questions related to the PAC, please contact John Ferraro, AMRPA Chief Operating Officer and AMRPA PAC Assistant Treasurer.
