AMRPA's IRF Boot Camp is Back
Today’s IRF managers and medical directors face numerous challenges to keep their IRF thriving. An IRF leader benefits understanding the rules and regulations so they can be applied in a uniform fashion and increase avenues for success.Â
The AMRPA IRF Boot Camp is a focused workshop for Managers and Medical Directors who want to have an in depth review of the several components that contribute to success. Attendees will receive basic information and contemporary applications to apply to their IRF on a range key issues.
Course Outline
This year’s course will be six hours on Sunday afternoon prior to the Fall Conference:
- IRF Rules and Regulations
- Admission Criteria – The Justification of Admission
- Documentation Requirements: Considerations for Admission and Post Discharge Denials
- IRF Reimbursement Basics
- Marketing and Referral Development: Bolstering the Role of Clinical Liaison
- Program Outcomes and Program Promotion
- Operational Routines for Success
Course Goals
All attendees will:
- Understand the IRF Certification Rules
- Understand when and how the 60% Rule is measured
- Understand how a CMG is classified for IRF patients
- Understand when a truncated payment is applied
- Understand the Brief Exceptions Rule
- Know a comprehensive training for Admissions Liaisons
