AMRPA Call for Abstracts is Now Open
The call for oral and poster presentation abstracts for the AMRPA Educational Conference & Expo taking place September 27 – 30, 2026, in Austin, TX is now open.
In 2025, AMRPA received a record-breaking number of abstract submissions which allowed us to host our most successful conference to date. The 2025 conference featured 75 concurrent sessions, 6 plenary sessions, 2 pre-conference workshops, 2 interactive poster sessions, educational roundtables, innovative and inspiring exhibitors and valuable networking with friends and colleagues.
Review the abstract submission guidelines and submit your abstract by March 20, 2026, for the opportunity to present to our audience of 600 plus registrants.
We look forward to seeing everyone at the AMRPA Educational Conference & Expo! This three-and-a-half day conference, including our full-day IRF Boot Camp and eRehabData Expert Analytics and Operations Symposium, offers operational and clinical insight, strategies and resources to help attendees advance the delivery of quality care, treatment and outcomes at inpatient rehabilitation hospitals and units.
The 2026 Educational Conference & Expo will feature seven concurrent tracks in addition to plenaries, panels, roundtables, and other special sessions. The tracks are designed to address the information and education needs of medical rehabilitation providers, including current events, key updates and changes in the field, as well as topics identified from the 2025 conference program evaluations.

Pediatric Rehabilitation
Operational and clinical practices including admission and discharge decision-making, staff training, length-of-stay management, coordination with schools and community systems, compliance with regulatory guidelines, and collaboration with insurers. Care delivery emphasizes child- and family-centered approaches, caregiver training, behavior and pain management, integration of siblings, transition to adulthood, use of technology, innovative care models, whole-child treatment, and support for complex sensory and developmental needs to promote successful outcomes.
