The Medical Directors Symposium (MDS) provides rehabilitation physician leadership with the knowledge and ‎networking opportunities they need to stay informed on the latest issues in the field. The session will ‎cover important updates on how ongoing changes affect day-to-day experiences for medical directors. ‎Specifically, this session will address how to fulfill community needs while strengthening relationships, ‎how to avoid staff burnout, the skills and competencies needed to be an effective Medical Director, ‎compliance and regulatory issues, quality and different payer and referral sources. ‎

Note: the MDS is open to all inpatient medical rehabilitation personnel, not just Medical Directors.
