Building on the success of the Pediatric Rehabilitation track introduced at the 2025 AMRPA Fall Educational Conference & Expo and the growing interest among AMRPA members, this year’s conference will feature a special pre-conference workshop dedicated to Pediatric Rehabilitation on Sunday, September 27, 2026. This exciting new program will be hosted at Dell Children’s Medical Center and will include a guided tour of the facility along with a networking reception for attendees.

Dell Children’s Medical Center is a CARF-accredited facility, recognized for its nationally ranked pediatric brain and spine care, dedicated mental health center, leading pediatric heart transplant program, the only children’s cancer center in Central Texas, comprehensive fetal care services and the region’s highest level of neonatal intensive care through its Level IV NICU.

The Pediatric Rehabilitation Workshop will provide a unique opportunity for participants to learn, share best practices, and build meaningful connections with peers across the rehabilitation community.

AMRPA will provide round-trip transportation for registrants between the Austin Marriott Downtown Hotel and Dell Children’s Medical Center.

‎10:00AM‎ Registration Opens

Registration is open. You may pick-up your badge from the registration desk.

12:30PM – 12:45PM‎ Transportation to Dell Children's Medical Center ‎

AMRPA will provide round-trip transportation for registrants between the Austin Marriott Downtown Hotel and Dell Children’s Medical Center.

1:00PM – 3:30PM‎ Presentations ‎

Three 45-minute presentations focused on disorders of consciousness, supporting children’s transition back to school and community environments, and interdisciplinary collaboration in the pediatric rehabilitation setting.

3:30PM – 4:15PM‎ Breakout Roundtables

Interactive roundtables with facilitated discussion on provided topics.

‎4:15PM – 5:00PM Guided Tour

Representatives from Dell Children’s Medical Center will facilitate guided tours of their pediatric rehabilitation facilities.

5:00PM – 6:00PM Pediatric Rehabilitation Networking Reception

Enjoy an opportunity to network with speakers and colleagues.
