The Medicare Payment Advisory Commission (MedPAC) is an independent Congressional agency established to advise the U.S. Congress on issues affecting the Medicare program. Every year, MedPAC makes recommendations to Congress regarding payments to providers in the Medicare program, beneficiaries’ access to care, quality of care, and other issues affecting Medicare.
AMRPA closely monitors the Commission’s activity to keep AMRPA members informed, and also advocates for the field by communicating inpatient rehabilitation providers’ concerns and comments to the Commission.
